January 3, 2025: Herreid, SD 57632 The Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) basketball toppled the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), 55-43 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Buffalos now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Highmore/Harrold for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Stanley County will play a Pirates team coming off a 62-42 non-league loss to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Herreid/Selby falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host North Central (Eureka, SD) to play the Thunder in a B Region 6 bout on Monday, January 6. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 3-3. North Central lost 63-40 in their recent non-league bout against Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD)
