Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie nips Kennedy
January 3, 2025: Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Prairie Hawks basketball team scored a close 70-68 win over the Kennedy Cougars.
The Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Ames edged Mason City (Mason City, IA), 53-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Kennedy will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 62-37 league win over Urbandale (Urbandale, IA).
