January 3, 2025: Kirtland, NM 87417 Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), 63-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rio Grande advances its record to 3-7 on the year. The Ravens travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Sartans in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Sartans enter the match with a record of 8-3. St. Pius X won 56-53 in their recent non-league match against Grants (Grants, NM)
The Broncos now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crownpoint for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Kirtland Central will face a Eagles squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
