Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield North toppled by Lockport
January 3, 2025: Lockport, IL 60441 Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 61-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lockport advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Porters travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to face the Chargers in a SouthWest Suburban match on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-14. Stagg lost 65-37 in their recent non-league match against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL)
The Tigers now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorkville for a SouthWest Prairie match on Tuesday, January 7.
