Alabama High School Basketball - Mountain Brook sneaks past McAdory
January 3, 2025: Birmingham, AL 35223 The Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) basketball edged the visiting McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL), 51-45 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Clay-Chalkville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Mountain Brook will play a Cougars team coming off a 66-37 non-league win over Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, McAdory falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Tarrant (Birmingham, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Tarrant won 71-58 in their recent league bout against Cordova (Cordova, AL)
