California High School Basketball - Tustin triumphant over Portola
January 3, 2025: Tustin, CA 92780 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tustin Tillers (Tustin, CA) and the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), observed Tustin's basketball team overwhelm Portola by a score of 64-28.
The Tillers (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA). The Eagles come into the Empire challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Calvary Chapel trounced Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA), 61-59, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Portola will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 59-56 non-league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).
