Ohio High School Basketball - Avon Lake overwhelms Gilmour Academy
January 3, 2025: Avon Lake, OH 44012 The Avon Lake Shoremen basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Gilmour Academy Lancers to 32 in the Shoremen non-league triumph on Friday.
The Shoremen now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elyria for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Gilmour Academy falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.
