January 3, 2025: Johns Creek, GA 30022 Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Alpharetta Raiders (Alpharetta, GA), 31-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mount Pisgah Christian advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Patriots host Westminster (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-6. Westminster lost 53-45 in their recent non-league match against St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC)
The Raiders now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a AAAAAA Region 6 match on Saturday, January 4. Alpharetta will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 54-28 non-league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-11.
