The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Kenny Crusaders (Jacksonville, FL) and the host Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA), observed Bishop Kenny's basketball team edge Marietta by a score of 54-49.

The Crusaders (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators come into the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Marietta will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 66-24 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA).
