The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Del Sol Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV), observed Del Sol's basketball team overwhelm Boulder City by a margin of 70-40.

The Dragons (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Basic (Henderson, NV). The Wolves come into the 4A Desert challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Basic was trounced by Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV), 46-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Boulder City will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 70-24 non-league loss to Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV).
