Michigan High School Basketball - Sturgis toppled by Brandywine
January 3, 2025: Sturgis, MI 49091 Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 55-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Brandywine advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI) to face the Maroon Giants in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Maroon Giants enter the match with a record of 2-1.
The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vicksburg for a Wolverine B match on Friday, January 10. Sturgis will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-13 non-league win over Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
