January 3, 2025: Olla, LA 71465 Calvin Cougars (Calvin, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host LaSalle Tigers (Olla, LA), 46-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Calvin upgrades its record to 15-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA) to face the Griffins in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Griffins enter the match with a record of 5-9. North DeSoto lost 57-22 in their recent non-league match against Logansport (Logansport, LA)
The Tigers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. LaSalle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-33 non-league loss to Family Community Christian (Winnsboro, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-12.
