In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Clinton Central Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 40-22 triumph over the Union City Indians.

The Bulldogs (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian topped Centerville (Centerville, IN), 64-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Union City will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Flying Jets go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 49-29 non-league win over Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN).
