The Duluth Wildcats basketball squad (Duluth, GA), was nudged 42-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Discovery Titans (Lawrenceville, GA)

With the victory, Discovery advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Titans host Buford (Buford, GA) to meet the Wolves in a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Monday, January 6. The Wolves enter the battle with a record of 10-1. Buford won 60-39 in their recent non-league battle against Gainesville (Gainesville, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowcreek for a AAAAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Duluth will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 71-21 league loss to Norcross (Norcross, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-10.
