Kansas High School Basketball - Hodgeman County fells Macksville
January 3, 2025: Jetmore, KS 67854 The Hodgeman County Longhorns basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Macksville Mustangs to 38 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.
The Longhorns now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pawnee Heights for a Southern Plains-Iroquois game on Friday, January 10. Hodgeman County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 37-23 league loss to South Central (Coldwater, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Macksville falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Cunningham (Cunningham, KS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 1-6. Cunningham lost 40-29 in their recent non-league game against Canton-Galva (Canton, KS)
