Rancho Christian Eagles (Temecula, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD), 70-69 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rancho Christian advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 17-0. Clovis West won 73-38 in their recent non-league match against Denver East (Denver, CO)

The Warriors now own a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosedale Christian Academy for a Mid-Atlantic Independent match on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will face a Rosedale Panthers squad coming off a 62-20 non-league win over Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Rosedale Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
