Louisiana High School Basketball - Peabody triumphant over Northwood
January 3, 2025: Alexandria, LA 71302 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) and the visiting Northwood Gators (Lena, LA), observed Peabody's basketball team overwhelm Northwood by a score of 47-25.
The Warhorses (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeview (Campti, LA). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Lakeview trounced Red River (Coushatta, LA), 61-25, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gators encounter the Avoyelles Mustangs (Moreauville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Northwood will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 42-35 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, LA).
