Iowa High School Basketball - Skutt Catholic overwhelms Sioux City East
January 3, 2025: Sioux City, IA 51106 The Skutt Catholic SkyHawks basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Sioux City East Black Raiders to 30 in the SkyHawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The SkyHawks now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Pius X for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Skutt Catholic will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 61-24 non-league win over St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Sioux City East falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Black raiders host South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
