The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albert Lea for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 7. New Ulm will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 6-0 league win over Winona (Winona, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.
With the defeat, Mankato East moves to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars host Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to encounter the Huskies in a Big 9 outing on Thursday, January 9.
