Virginia High School Ice Hockey - Yorktown holds off Broad Run
January 3, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20147 The Yorktown Patriots ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the host Broad Run Spartans to 5 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now hold a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Madison for a bout on Friday, January 10. Yorktown will play a Warhawks team coming off a 3-3 non-league Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Warhawks record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Broad Run moves to 1-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Friday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-0.
