Texas High School Soccer - Angleton nudges Milby
January 3, 2025: Houston, TX 77012 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX) and the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), saw Angleton's soccer squad hold off Milby by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Sharpstown (Houston, TX). The Apollos enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Sharpstown tipped Princeton (Princeton, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Buffs battle the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) in a battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Milby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to North Shore (Houston, TX).
