California High School Soccer - Granada Hills Charter knocks off Burroughs
January 3, 2025: Burbank, CA 91506 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) and the host Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA), saw Granada Hills Charter's soccer squad knock off Burroughs by a count of 3-0.
The Highlanders (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Patriots go into the West Valley challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Birmingham nudged San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 5-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Burroughs moves to 4-7 on the year. The Bears travel to Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a Pacific challenge on Tuesday, January 7. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Crescenta Valley lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA)
