January 3, 2025: Kiln, MS 39556 D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, D'Iberville advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Gulfport (Gulfport, MS) to clash with the Admirals in a 7A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 7. The Admirals come into the test with a record of 11-1. Gulfport won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS)
The Hawks now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Long Beach for a 6A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 7. Hancock will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-8.
