Texas High School Soccer - Navasota knocks off Mount Vernon
January 3, 2025: Navasota, TX 77868 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) and the visiting Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX), saw Navasota's soccer squad triumph over Mount Vernon by a count of 7-0.
The Rattlers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX). The Leopards enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Gainesville tipped Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 13 battle, on Friday, January 24. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
