January 3, 2025: Newbury Park, CA 91320 Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oxnard moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Pacifica (Oxnard, CA) to clash with the Tritons in a Channel test on Tuesday, January 7. The Tritons come into the test with a record of 8-1. Pacifica won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA)
The Panthers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Agoura for a Marmonte test on Tuesday, January 7. Newbury Park will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-3.
