Iowa High School Basketball - Linn-Mar nips North Scott
January 3, 2026: Marion, IA 52302 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Linn-Mar Lions basketball team scored a close 66-61 win over the North Scott Lancers.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles enter the Mississippi Valley match with a 2-1 record.
The Lancers now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Assumption for a Mississippi match on Tuesday, January 6. North Scott will face a Knights squad coming off a 68-27 non-league win over Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
