The Mesa Jackrabbits basketball squad scored 37 points and restricted the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks to 30 in the Jackrabbits non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Jackrabbits now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 6. Mesa will play a Hawks team coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Ironwood Ridge falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 6.
