January 30, 2023: Grove City, MN 56243 In Monday's non-league outing, the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), by a count of 72-36.
The Falcons (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs go into the AA Section 3 outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Paynesville smashed New London-Spicer (New London, MN), 62-41, in a league outing.
The Sting now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Canby for a A Section 3 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Yellow Medicine East will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 66-55 league loss to Murray County Central (Slayton, MN). The Lancers record now stands at 8-9.
