Nevada High School Basketball - Clark knocked off by Canyon Springs
January 30, 2023: Las Vegas, NV 89102 The Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Clark Chargers to 52 in the Pioneers league triumph on Monday.
The Pioneers now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Verde for a 5A Southern contest on Wednesday, February 1. Canyon Springs will meet a Panthers team coming off a 80-46 league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Panthers record now stands at 5-12.
The Chargers (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Durango (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers enter the 5A Southern contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Durango was defeated by Owyhee (Meridian, ID), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
