Kentucky High School Basketball - Green County nips Casey County
January 30, 2023: Liberty, KY 42539 Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY), 84-77 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Green County upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Dragons host Hart County (Munfordville, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 18 bout on Friday, February 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-9.
Next up, the Rebels play the Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Casey County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 59-52 league loss to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY).
