Iowa High School Basketball - Dowling Catholic holds off Hoover
January 30, 2023: Des Moines, IA 50310 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) and the host Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA), saw Dowling Catholic's basketball squad hold off Hoover by a tally of 60-58.
With the victory, Dowling Catholic improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Northwest (Waukee, IA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 15-2.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Little Cyclones come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA).
