South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary crushes Garretson
January 30, 2023: Garretson, SD 57030 St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD), 69-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Mary upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Cardinals host Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Iroquois/Lake Preston lost 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD)
Next up, the Blue Dragons play the Baltic Bulldogs (Baltic, SD) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Garretson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 71-61 league loss to McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD).
