January 30, 2023: Lena, IL 61048 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) and the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, IL), saw Lena-Winslow's basketball squad overcome Warren by a tally of 48-34.
With the victory, Lena-Winslow improves its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to confront the Broncos in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 2-21. Orangeville lost 59-54 in their recent league challenge against Durand (Durand, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Warren will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 1-23 record after their 61-30 non-league loss to Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL).
