Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Liguori Academy holds off Valley Forge Baptist Academy
January 30, 2023: Collegeville, PA 19426 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Liguori Academy Falcons (Philadelphia, PA) and the host Valley Forge Baptist Academy Patriots (Collegeville, PA), saw Liguori Academy's basketball squad hold off Valley Forge Baptist Academy by a tally of 56-52.
With the victory, Liguori Academy improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Freire Charter School Wilmington (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Freire Charter School Wilmington won 63-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Providence Christian Academy (Elkton, MD)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Calvary Christian Academy Cougars (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Valley Forge Baptist Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 60-46 league win over Valley Forge Military Academy (Wayne, PA).
