Michigan High School Basketball - Brandywine crushes Sturgis
January 30, 2023: Niles, MI 49120 Brandywine Bobcats (Niles, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 65-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Brandywine upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Buchanan (Buchanan, MI) to face the Bucks in a Lakeland game on Thursday, February 2. The Bucks enter the game with a record of 13-1. Buchanan won 60-9 in their recent non-league game against Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI)
With the defeat, Sturgis moves to 2-13 on the year. The Trojans travel to Plainwell (Plainwell, MI) to face the Trojans in a Wolverine B game on Friday, February 3. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 7-7. Plainwell lost 61-52 in their recent non-league game against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI)
