January 30, 2023: Vancouver, WA 98684 The Hockinson Hawks basketball team (Brush Prairie, WA), was overwhelmed 68-38 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Evergreen Plainsmen (Vancouver, WA)
The Plainsmen now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie for a 3A Greater St. Helens battle on Friday, February 3. Evergreen will confront a Falcons team coming off a 58-53 league win over Heritage (Vancouver, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-5.
The Hawks (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs come into the 2A Greater St. Helens battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Mark Morris trounced Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA), 40-16, in a league battle.
