January 30, 2023: South Point, OH 45680 In Monday's non-league outing, the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Grace Christian (Huntington, WV), by a margin of 54-30.
The Pointers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH). The Hornets go into the Ohio Valley outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Dawson-Bryant was trounced by Ironton (Ironton, OH), 37-35, in a league outing.
The now own a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Point Pleasant for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 2. Grace Christian will clash with a Big Blacks squad coming off a 39-25 non-league loss to Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Big Blacks record now stands at 4-14.
