Wisconsin High School Basketball - Spooner ripped by Ladysmith
January 30, 2023: Ladysmith, WI 54848 The Ladysmith Lumberjacks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Spooner Rails to 17 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Monday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomer for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Ladysmith will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Amery (Amery, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 5-8.
The Rails (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, WI). The Oredockers enter the Heart O'North contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Ashland was routed by Phillips (Phillips, WI), 65-48, in a non-league contest.
