Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Spring Grove fells Lampeter-Strasburg
January 30, 2023: Lampeter, PA 17537 Spring Grove Rockets (Spring Grove, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA), 74-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spring Grove upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Rockets travel to William Penn (York, PA) to play the Bearcats in a York-Adams 1 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 9-7. William Penn lost 44-43 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson (West Lawn, PA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Lampeter-Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 53-49 league loss to Manheim Central (Manheim, PA).
