The St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA) varsity basketball team won Monday's home conference game against The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA) by a score of 39-29.
The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting The Carmel School Wildcats to 29 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. St. Michael the Archangel will battle a Falcons team coming off a 46-26 league loss to St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-6.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA). The Kings enter the VISAA Division IV contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian School was defeated by Veritas School (Richmond, VA), 49-9, in a league contest.
