Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong trounces Wythe
January 30, 2023: Richmond, VA 23225 The Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) basketball crushed the host Wythe Bulldogs (Richmond, VA), 58-33 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Patrick Henry walloped Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 49-34, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Manchester for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Wythe will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 56-54 non-league loss to Cosby (Midlothian, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 14-2.
