January 30, 2024: Ada, OK 74820 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Allen Mustangs (Allen, OK) and the host Latta Panthers (Ada, OK), saw Allen's basketball squad hold off Latta by a tally of 38-35.
With the victory, Allen improves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Stonewall (Stonewall, OK) to play the Longhorns in a Pontotoc challenge on Friday, February 2. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 22-0. Stonewall won 64-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Macomb (Macomb, OK)
Next up, the Panthers play the Tishomingo Indians (Tishomingo, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Latta will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 79-45 non-league loss to Caddo (Caddo, OK).
