Missouri High School Basketball - Billings nips Spokane
January 30, 2024: Billings, MO 65610 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Billings Wildcats (Billings, MO) and the visiting Spokane Owls (Spokane, MO), saw Billings's basketball squad hold off Spokane by a count of 54-51.
With the victory, Billings upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host School of the Ozarks (Point Lookout, MO) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. School of the Ozarks won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against New Covenant Academy (Springfield, MO)
Next up, the Owls play the Blue Eye Bulldogs (Blue Eye, MO) in a Southwest Central challenge, on Friday, February 2. Spokane will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Wheaton (Wheaton, MO).
