Kansas High School Basketball - Caney Valley overwhelms Bluestem
January 30, 2024: Caney, KS 67333 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS) and the visiting Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), saw Caney Valley's basketball squad wallop Bluestem by a tally of 72-38.
With the victory, Caney Valley improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Bullpups travel to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS) to play the Cubs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cubs come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Humboldt won 56-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Eureka (Eureka, KS)
Next up, the Lions play the Erie Red Devils (Erie, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 2. Bluestem will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 73-53 non-league win over Cherryvale (Cherryvale, KS).
