Minnesota High School Basketball - Brandon/Evansville holds off Browerville
January 30, 2024: Brandon, MN 56315 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Brandon/Evansville Chargers (Brandon, MN) and the visiting Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN), saw Brandon/Evansville's basketball squad hold off Browerville by a tally of 69-63.
With the victory, Brandon/Evansville improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Chargers host Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN) to confront the Battlers in a A Section 6 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Battlers come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Battle Lake won 83-65 in their recent league challenge against Hancock (Hancock, MN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN) in a A Section 5 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Browerville will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 79-70 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, MN).
