Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tushka Tigers (Atoka, OK) and the host Buffalo Valley Buffaloes (Talihina, OK), saw Tushka's basketball squad hold off Buffalo Valley by a count of 47-40.

With the victory, Tushka upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Tigers host Calera (Calera, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a Bryan County challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-12.

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Keota Lions (Keota, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Buffalo Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 47-44 non-league loss to Gore (Gore, OK).
