Florida High School Basketball - The Rock National fells Central Pointe Christian Academy National
January 30, 2024: Gainesville, FL The Rock National Lions (Gainesville, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Pointe Christian Academy National White Tigers (Kissimmee, FL), 85-66 in a league bout.
With the win, The Rock National upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Lions host North Florida Educational Institute (Jacksonville, FL) to clash with the Fighting Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Fighting Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-11. North Florida Educational Institute won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Creekside (St. Johns, FL)
Next up, the White Tigers clash with the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks (Auburndale, FL) in a Sunshine Independent bout, on Thursday, February 1. Central Pointe Christian Academy National will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 70-64 league win over 212 Sports Academy (Sarasota, FL).
