January 30, 2024: Grand Rapids, MI 49506 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Christian Eagles (Grand Rapids, MI) and the visiting Grandville Bulldogs (Grandville, MI), saw Christian's basketball squad hold off Grandville by a tally of 48-42.
With the victory, Christian improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Greenville (Greenville, MI) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Ottawa-Kent - Bronze challenge on Friday, February 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Greenville lost 65-47 in their recent league challenge against Northview (Grand Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Jenison Wildcats (Jenison, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Red challenge, on Friday, February 2. Grandville will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 80-51 league loss to Rockford (Rockford, MI).
