Kansas High School Basketball - Concordia knocked off by Clifton-Clyde
January 30, 2024: Clyde, KS 66938 The Clifton-Clyde Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Concordia Panthers to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Doniphan West for a Twin Valley contest on Friday, February 2. Clifton-Clyde will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Axtell (Axtell, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-11.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Marysville ran past Riley County (Riley, KS), 42-35, in a non-league contest.
