January 30, 2024: West Salem, OH 44287 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) basketball squad beat the host Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), by a count of 79-61.
The Cougars (16-0) will now prepare for their outing against New London (New London, OH). The Wildcats go into the Firelands outing with a 1-14 record. In their last outing, New London was topped by Rittman (Rittman, OH), 57-32, in a non-league outing.
The Huskies now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chippewa for a Wayne County outing on Friday, February 2. Northwestern will clash with a Chipps squad coming off a 85-80 league loss to Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 2-12.
